One of the best Italian places in Greenville. Go here with the family about once a month. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, prices are fair and service is always great. Get the calamari.

Traveling and looking for something good in an unfamiliar place. Portofino's was a good choice. The salad dressing was basic oil and vinegar but very good and the entrees were tasty. Waitress was attentive and timely and the food was delivered in a timely manner, as well. Overall a very satisfying value for dollar experience.

Great unlimited salad and rolls. If you like a restaurant to have a great presentation with their entrees, this is not your place. Food isn't bad depending on what you get and the staff are nice and accommodating.

The best Italian restaurant anywhere. The sampler appetizer is a great way to start. Artichoke hearts, mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli, just yum. And the rolls, just fresh, buttery and garlicky goodness. This is actually my favorite place to go out to eat. It's my husband's 2nd favorite. Everything is so fresh. And they have beets! A plus for my husband and I. The staff is always so friendly. One time my husband accidentally broke his wine glass and they were so nice about it. They replaced the wine with a new one, which they didn't have to do. I know this is getting long, there's just so many great things i could say about Portofino's. They are amazing, if you guys read this, thank for the amazing food and experience you always create!!!

Incredibly friendly staff!!! Food was amazing as well!!! The hostess Joy is an absolute pleasure to talk to and she genuinely cares about what she does! So much personality! Looking forward to having another fantastic experience with them!

Food is good and I enjoy their salad, can not give them a higher rating as they truly need to improve their silverware. I find it outrageous that a restaurant that seems to be doing so well can not provide their customers better utensils to eat with.Well, I've been back (more than a month has passed) and no new utensils, I believed when you said you had ordered new ones but I guess you were just pulling my leg.Oh and by the way, as an Italian restaurant you should have an expresso machine.Disappointed, time to try another place

This was delicious! It’s not on any travel guides website for best in Greenville, but it should be!! My wife and I ate like king and queen! Calamari appetizer, we both got chicken parmigiana but instead of the spaghetti side we did fettuccine alfredo, and we got cannolis for dessert!! WOW!

Food was great as usual. I understand Friday is the busiest night and you need all the help you can get but I don't think the elderly lady that was supposed to wait on us was any help at all. She has no knowledge of the menu or the wine list,didn't bring us water until the main course arrived and we asked for a bottle of wine three times. Main course arrived before the plates from the starters were cleaned, we had no cutlery . All the help we got was from the rest of your crew. We follow you from your previous location, it always been great, I hope just bad luck tonight .

I have enjoyed coming to eat at this cozy, friendly Italian restaurant for awhile now. The food is consistently good, from the hot buttered rolls down to the rich, velvety smooth chocolate Milky Way pie. I love the tomato sauce here and their eggplant parmesan is very yummy...I have also had the Chicken Alfredo and it's good but not as spectacular as the tomato dishes in my opinion. The wait has never been too long and wait staff is friendly and helpful!

We were having a 4 generation reunion. The atmosphere, food, and service exceeded our expectations!!! Chris was an excellent server and the food was amazing! I definitely recommend Portofino's!

Extremely nice staff! Would go back again just for them! We got the sampler and Angel Hair with chicken both by suggestion. Jessica was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She was fast and juggled about 5 tables around us. The owner and host were also very warm and welcoming. The sampler was very good in flavor and portion. While the Angle Hair was a little dry, I would still go back again. The salad was good and the bread was amazing - smothered in butter and whole chunks of garlic. Sign. Me. Up. Will definitely return!

So, this is the angel hair with shrimp and veggies. To the left is the majority of the dish and to the right is the pasta with veggies. Sad, but true. I viewed the dish as being served at the restaurant. Totally different ballgame. To go means we can do what we want ...very dry... very disappointing. Over $17.00...nada...

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I enjoyed it. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was very good and I will be back.

The salad and rolls were probably enough food for our meal, but we didn't stop there. I personally had the Veal Parmigiana. The Veal was so big, they put my spaghetti on a separate plate! Twas yum! My fiance had the Romano Sampler. Every portion of that was yum, as well, too, también!!! Dessert time! Tiramisu!!! Great coffee flavor! Moist as all get out. Highly recommended!!

Food was good. Place was packed. Waited 45 min for table of 2. New arrivals were sat before us waiting for a 2-top to open up for us, which there were less of! Our server was good but asked if we wanted dessert while we eating dinner and brought us a to go container while still eating. We felt pressured to leave

My wife and I went there for our first time on a date night and love it! The wait wasn't too long to be seated and although many were waiting to be seated we never felt rushed.They have these little garlic rolls that are little fluffy pillows from heaven. The calamari was absolutely amazing, salad was nice and light as well as yummy, but that cannoli though was to die for.The employees were so very friendly, helpful and attentive. We will most certainly be going back.

Outstanding! Your meal starts with the best butter garlic rolls and an awesome salad packed with great stuff! The rolls have melted butter and fresh garlic on them and they are spectacular!I've had the meatballs with chicken parmesan both times send the meat sauce is too die for. Authentic Italian that you will love!Good sized portions, well cooked. A good selection of wine and beer. The cheesecake was good as well!

Love Portifinos! Smells so good right when you open the door! Everything is delicious and the service has always been great! It’s a very popular birthday choice for our group of friends. Hard to get a spot at the bar but we like to try!

I ordered carry out for chicken alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs and a side order of mozzarella sticks and dessert. The food was horrible, I mean horrible. My chicken alfredo was watery and bland. The spaghetti was also horrible. The only thing that was good was the dessert. I will never go there for there food only for the dessert. A waste of 70 dollars

I called for take out. Food was good but I had to go in to pick up the food and no social distancing inside. The girl at the front told me I’d have to go back to the kitchen door to ask about my order. Wait staff all around. No masks. If you’re concerned about covid 19, I would not advise you to go until the virus has passed.

Portofino's is the best italian restaurant I have ever eaten at. The employees are welcoming, the atmosphere is calming, and the food is superb. It is one restaurant that you do not ever have to ask for something to be different, changed or added to. Food is excellent.

Always a favorite. Great food, and a salad that puts the "other" Italian restaurant's offering to shame.Tortelacci, baked spaghetti and the garlic rolls are the best. Our server, Corey, was super- he answered all our questions and was on top of things. Highly recommend this place!

The salad and the rolls are different from most local restaurants here. You must have their (I think it's house salad?) salad. Doesn't come with options for dressings but their dressing. And the warm rolls, soaked in their mild garlic oil. Scrumptious start! The eggplant dish was underwhelming, unfortunately. I'll visit again, though, as they have good service and the place adheres to safety and hygiene standards more so during these times.

What a great place. It must be a popular local joint, I stopped in on business and the bartender knew everyone else. He recommended the snapper francese, which honestly I never would have considered, and I'm glad I did. It was excellent. Priced very reasonably also. Highly recommend it.

I had my birthday celebration here with the hubs and a few of our friends. We made reservations and were seated promptly when that time came around..very impressive. Our waiter, Corey, was awesome (very knowledgeable and courteous) and alot of fun too! Food was delicious and served in a timely manner. We will definitely go back, and thank you for making our first experience very memorable!!

I was called by my name. Bartender Chris knows all my favorites. Brett always finds a moment to say “hello.” I met 4 new people last night who love Portofino’s as much as do! Our favorite place. Food is consistently good. Prices are reasonable. Wait staff are pleasant. Drinks are good. We go at least 3 times a month.

Attentive service, generous and well prepared food. We arrived at 4:45 and left at about 6 pm. We were the only diners there until about 5:30. We enjoyed ourselves.

Our first time here tonight and the food was phenomenal!! We had checked in online, from home, and the website quoted us an hour long wait. Well on our way there, we received a text about thirty minutes after we put our name on the list that our table was ready. We hadn’t arrived yet. Once we did arrive, the hostess was so sweet and seated us immediately. the hostess had a great attitude and was very personable. Katelyn waited on us tonight as our server and provided excellent service as well. Everything from the time we walked in, until the moment we left, was amazing!! Will definitely be coming back for more!!

I went here on recommendation and was incredibly disappointed. Wondering if the chefs who came up with the recipes have any taste buds at all. The food was so incredibly bland it blew my mind. Garlic butter rolls more like butter and rolls. Bruschetta lacked any kind of pizzazz. Tomato, red onion, low quality basil and the tiniest splash of balsamic. We also had two different chickens and the salad it came with. Wondering if they used more than 1 herb in any dish. Literally olive garden is better and I don't hold olive garden in high regards. Will not be going back.

This was one of the most amazing Italian meals I ever got to enjoy. It started with a salad that with home made dressing and a perfect mix of lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, beets, and cheese. The salad was served with very flavorful fresh rolls dipped in butter with fresh garlic. My main dish was lasagna, which had the finest ingredients and a perfect harmony of flavors. I will be back for sure next time I am in town, this was one of the best dinners I ever ate and the price was very reasonable. Service was outstanding, more like what you would expect at an upscale restaurant.
